Often Delicate, Sometimes Difficult, Always Defining!

By Terry Hoggard

Baton Transitions – that’s what I am talking about!

Because life is a journey & change is inevitable, transitions will always be with us!

We can not avoid them or ignore them! Our only option is to manage or mismanage them!

The truth about transitions is that they are often delicate, sometimes difficult, but always defining!

Most of us do not like change! We make peace with what we have & really do not want that disturbed! When we encounter transition our tendency is to become very fragile, which makes the situation extremely delicate or we can become very frustrated, which only makes things more difficult!

The truth is that transitions are intended to have a far higher purpose than this!

They are to be ‘defining’ moments’ when we move into something new!

We exchange the past for the future! We move from ‘been there & done that’ to ‘what’s this & how’s that’!

We have the potential to embrace what we have never had, the possibility to experience what we have never known & the privilege to go where we have never gone!

Big things all because of small transitions!!
