Anchored Confidence In The Cyclical Confusion
Things have been a wee bit chaotic in our world lately!
The weather has been raging out of control! One storm after another has brought devastation & death to so many!
The experts say it's the 'cycle' we are in & that things will return to normal once the season changes!
The financial markets have created quite a tempest as well! Buyouts & foreclosures have caused panic & a real lack of confidence! It' a downturn in the 'cycle' – so they say!
This 'cycle' spins in our personal lives as well!
We find ourselves going thru unexpected, undeserved & often unexplained challenges! We plumb the depth of the dark valleys & comforting friends assure us that the trouble will soon pass & we will be on the upswing of the 'cycle' again!
The 'cycle' is life's reality … and yet we struggle!
'Anchored Confidence In The Cyclical Confusion' – that is what we all seek!
There can be peace in the troubled times, hope during the impossible moments & 'anchored confidence in the cyclical confusion' - but only if we look beyond ourselves to God alone!
His bold declaration to us is, 'I am the Lord & I do not change' (Malachi 3:6)!
Only He can be described as the Unchanging One & can guarantee for us, 'anchored confidence in the cyclical confusion'!
So the 'cycle' will contine to spin all around us - but our anchor holds!
Really, really holds!!
