Bridges

Pastor Todd Tyson and their awesome team in Paris lead one of our great FEIC churches named “The Bridge.” I love that name and how it reflects the ministry they are doing in Paris to lead people to Jesus.

Recently, I was in San Francisco, California where the historic Golden Gate Bridge connects the city of San Francisco to the peninsula of leading to northern California. It’s one of the most photographed and iconic bridges in the world.

Bridges take us from where we are to where we want to be!

We build discipline bridges in our life to help us create foundational habits and leadership competencies to be great influencers.

We build cultural bridges to celebrate our diversity while connecting the gap between different cultures in order to create a Biblical culture.

Ultimately, we are called to build relationship bridges. We’ve all used the graphics to illustrate how our sin separates us from God yet Jesus becomes The Bridge to restore our broken relationship!

Change happens so quickly in today’s world. It’s delusional to assume we can continue to do what we have always done and make a spiritual impact in today’s secular Europe.

That’s why we’re so dependent on the Holy Spirit to help us to be creative and look for redemptive analogies and build bridges that will lead people to our Savior!
