BECAUSE RELATIONSHIPS MATTER

New Continental Theological Seminary Courses

ctsWe want to make you aware of two great courses that are going to be offered at Continental Theological Seminary (CTS) in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw near Brussels, Belgium beginning August 31 of this year. These courses will be taught in English.

The first course, Ministry to Muslims in Urban Contexts, will go from Monday, August 31 through Friday, September 4. The instructor will be Dr. Mark Hausfeld, the recently elected President of Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, USA.

The second course, Folk Islam and Power Encounter, will go from Monday, September 7 through Friday, September 11. The instructor will be Dr. Donald McCurry, veteran missionary to Pakistan and world renown author and expert on Christian ministry to Muslims.

These courses are the result of a partnership between CTS, PEM (Pentecostal European Mission) and Global Initiative (GI). They are structured so that:
* they can be audited for personal learning and growth (no academic credit)
* they can be taken for undergraduate credit at CTS
* they can be taken for graduate credit at CTS
* they can be taken for graduate credit at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS)
Logically, the course work varies according to the institution granting academic credit.

Due to the generosity of those deeply committed to preparing Christian workers for Pentecostal Ministry to Muslims, CTS has available exceptional scholarships to defray part of the cost of the studies. This becomes a unique opportunity to pursue the highest academic training possible while also progressing towards an advanced degree. For further information, go to this CTS website: (http://www.ctsem.edu/institute-of-islamic-studies-announces-2015-september-sessions/)

Complete course descriptions and registration information is on the website. The deadline for registration is Friday, August 21, 2015.

We encourage you to prayerfully consider who else that you know might benefit from such ministry preparation. Your sharing this information with them can bless them and further God’s work among Muslims.
