Miracles
Job 5:9 declares “God does great things to marvelous to understand and He performs countless miracles.”
I’m so thankful that heaven never has an economic crisis and that God is not running low on miracles today! In fact, miracles belong to God. He is the Source of “countless miracles!”
As we talk with our IC pastors and leaders across Europe, we all acknowledge that we need the supernatural, miracle working power of God in our cities. We may be limited in our resources but God is never limited.
Although we recognize that miracles come from God, it’s important to remember that miracles require our cooperation with God! Miracles are not just a demonstration of God’s power, they are a demonstration of God’s love to a world that He continually reaches out to.
So, God invites us to participate in His miraculous work.
▪ God asked Moses – what do you have in your hand?
▪ Elisha asked the widow – what do you have in your house?
▪ Jesus asked the disciples at the feeding of the 5,000 – what do you possess?
In each case, God invites us to participate in the miraculous. What do you need today? What does your church need? What does your city need?
Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we might ask or think, according to His power that works so mightily in us.
What God chooses to do is His business… but believing that He can is my responsibility!
We’re believing with you this weekend!
