Generational Bridges
March 17
Last night Pastor Perre Chiner from Lyon France did an incredible job at the PEF Conference speaking about the importance of building generational bridges to empower our young people to impact their generation.
One of the disadvantages of growing older is we can become increasingly disconnected from our youth today instead of investing to equip them to serve the Lord in their generation.
Remember the promise of God in the last days – “I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.”
I hear people say all the time, “there just not ready.” Well, let’s do something about it!
Let’s give them an opportunity, let’s take risks like others did with us and see them filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to make a major spiritual impact.
When I look back, I was never really ready and if you’re honest you probably weren’t either. I was not ready for the roles I serve in now but people believed in me, invested in my life and God helped me grow.
Think about this today… The disciples were nowhere close to being ready yet Jesus invested three years into them then released them to change the world. They made mistakes but the power of the Holy Spirit made all the difference in their lives.
Let’s build bridges and see the Holy Spirit poured out on our students today!
We’re praying for you. We’re praying for your team. We’re praying for your youth today!
