The Work of the Spirit
We want to remind each other today of Jesus words in John 3:8 as he speaks of the work of the Spirit – “The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
If we’re not careful, our lives can are so busy that can we miss the work of the Spirit all around us because we’re trying to develop and carry out our strategies.
I’m convinced that the Spirit is working and God is inviting us as IC pastors and leaders to participate with Him in His supernatural purposes!
The story of Peter and Cornelius in Acts is a great example of how God is using IC’s across Europe to connect and share faith with people that God so deeply loves. We may not know where the wind blows but we see the moving of the Spirit and work with Him.
Today it’s a diplomat… tomorrow it’s a refugee… the next day it’s a student.
Look up! The wind of the Spirit is blowing where He pleases but wherever He blows, there is always a Kingdom opportunity.
May God give us spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to His Church in Europe.
We’re praying for you and your team this weekend!
